WhereTaken Game Rules
Study the photo, then drop a map pin. The game measures how far that pin sits from the real location. Visual evidence is required; you are not picking from a multiple-choice list of countries. Hints may exist, but using them early can spoil the detective work. A new photo appears each day. The trap is vibe: a European-looking street can sit on another continent, and tropical light can belong to more than one coast.
- Pin the real-world location of the daily WhereTaken photo.
- Closer pins score better; country-level guesses can still miss badly.
- Use the image, not a silhouette or a year slider.
- WhereTaken is not WhenTaken and not WhereTaken USA.
