WhenTaken Game Rules
Five photos. Drop a world-map pin, then choose a year. Distance from the true location cuts the location half. Missing the true year cuts the date half. Close still scores; the wrong continent or the wrong decade does not. Hints may exist for place or year; using them shows on share cards but does not automatically zero the round. A medieval church in a modern street is a date trap, not a medieval photograph.
- Score location and year on each of five WhenTaken photos.
- Up to 100 points per half; 1000 is a perfect day.
- Closer pins and nearer years keep more points.
- WhenTaken is not WhereTaken or WhereTaken USA.
