What is Rangele?

Rangele is Wordle with digits: crack a hidden 3-digit number from 000 to 999 in six tries. Each guess paints tiles. Green locks that digit in that slot. Gray says that digit does not belong there and may be gone from the secret entirely. Repeats are legal, so 112, 909, and 777 are all in play.

A green middle 8 is not “almost won.” Rangele still needs the other two positions, and duplicates can hide in the last row.

Rangele Game Rules

Enter any 000–999 string. Six rows. Daily mode shares one secret. Green means correct digit, correct place—do not move it. Gray is negative evidence. Because digits can repeat, do not delete a digit from every slot after one gray if another copy might still be live. Panic typing wastes the short clock of six.

1. Submit a 3-digit Rangele scout such as 482.
2. Keep every green digit in its slot.
3. Swap only the gray positions with new candidates.
4. Confirm the last digit without touching locked greens.

Rangele Strategy & Tips

Information first, then confirmation. Once two greens sit, stop exploring and bisect the remaining digit. Remember 000–999 includes leading zeros. If greens stall and a digit “should” be present, test a duplicate before you invent a new trio. Each Rangele row should answer a question, not vent frustration.
