Daily Shikaku Game Rules
One number per rectangle. Area equals the clue. No overlaps, no leftover cells, no empty rectangles. Shape can be any rectangle that fits. Play on puzzle-shikaku-style dailies (often a 7×7 option). If a leftover cell cannot host a remaining clue, backtrack.
- Divide the Daily Shikaku grid into non-overlapping rectangles.
- Each rectangle contains exactly one number equal to its area.
- Every cell must belong to a rectangle.
- A shape that blocks another clue is illegal even if its own area is right.
