What is Padlock?

Padlock is a daily Mastermind-style digit cracker. The secret is a 4-digit code, or 5-digit on harder modes. Digits may repeat. You have ten guesses. After each row, mini color blocks report how many digits are green (right place), yellow (wrong place), and gray (absent). The blocks do not sit under specific columns—you get counts, not a Wordle keymap.

It is not Packle and not Paddockdle. Packle asks how many circles fit in a shape. Paddockdle guesses Formula 1 drivers. Padlock is pure code logic at padlockgame.net. Nerdle is a hidden equation; Padlock never needs operators.

Padlock Game Rules

Submit a 4- or 5-digit string. Feedback is aggregate: two yellows means two digits belong somewhere else, not “these two seats are warm.” Repeats are scored fairly. Ten misses and the lock stays shut until tomorrow’s code. Use elimination tables; lucky sprays burn the budget.

  • Crack the daily Padlock code in ten guesses or fewer.
  • Green, yellow, and gray counts do not map onto typed positions.
  • Digits can repeat; 4-digit standard, 5-digit advanced.
  • Padlock is a number lock, not Packle packing or Paddockdle F1.

How to play Padlock?

Press Play on this listing to open official Padlock. Open with distinct digits to maximize information, then permute the survivors.

  1. Enter a first Padlock guess with four different digits.
  2. Record how many greens, yellows, and grays you received.
  3. Eliminate gray digits and test yellows in new seats.
  4. Force the last positions once three are known, before guess ten.

Padlock Strategy & Tips

Batches like 0123 then 4567 map the digit pool fast. Gray is gold: never reuse a confirmed absent digit unless you are testing a duplicate theory the counts allow. When you hold two yellows, systematically rotate them rather than changing everything. Five-digit mode is the same logic with more chaos. Do not open this expecting a paddock of drivers or a packing silhouette.

  • Start Padlock with unique digits to learn the pool.
  • Treat color blocks as counts, never as column colors.
  • Lock known positions and permute only the unknown seats.
