What is Geodle?

Geodle is a daily country identification game with seven guesses and a comparison table, not a heat-colored globe. Each miss scores your pick against the secret on continent, population, landlocked status, religion, average temperature, and government. Greens match; reds miss; population and temperature use up or down arrows, sometimes with a within-10% note.

There is no flag and no outline. Geodle is not Globle (country heat map), not GeoGuessr (Street View), and not GeoQuest (click the named country on a map). You deduce from statistics.

Geodle Game Rules

Every guess must be a real country from the searchable list. Geodle then fills six comparison fields. Exact matches lock green. Ordered stats tell you whether the target is larger, smaller, hotter, or colder. You cannot repeat a country. Seven tries is the cap. A new secret country appears each day. Binary fields such as landlocked cut the map faster than a famous name with the wrong government.

  • Name the secret country in seven Geodle guesses or fewer.
  • Feedback covers continent, population, landlocked, religion, temperature, and government.
  • Arrows and close-call notes apply to population and temperature.
  • Duplicate countries are blocked; the daily target resets every day.

How to play Geodle?

Press Play on this listing to open official Geodle. Open with a large, well-known country so continent, scale, and coastline status light up at once.

  1. Submit a populous country to read the first Geodle comparison row.
  2. Follow continent matches and population arrows; keep or flip landlocked.
  3. Use religion, temperature, and government as tiebreakers on the right continent.
  4. Enter the remaining country that fits every field before guess seven.

Geodle Strategy & Tips

First Geodle guesses should delete continents and population bands, not chase a lucky small state. Landlocked and government are binary scalpels. Temperature and religion often decide lookalike neighbors. Track eliminations on paper if the table gets dense. A miss that is the right continent and the right scale is still a good miss.

  • Start Geodle with a big country that tests continent and population together.
  • Let landlocked and government wipe half the remaining list.
  • Save climate and religion for the final cluster of candidates.
