What is Triplets?
Triplets is a timed visual pattern sprint. Each card has four traits: shape, color, fill, and icon count. Each trait has three versions. You hunt three cards that, for every trait independently, are all the same or all different. A legal set adds ten seconds. Time out and the score locks; free play may continue without changing that number.
This is not Travle’s border chain and not Tridle’s three Wordle boards. Triplets is Set-like observation under a clock. The forbidden pattern is two matching and one different on even a single trait.
Triplets Game Rules
Shapes are triangle, circle, or square. Colors are green, blue, or red. Fills are outline, shaded, or solid. Counts are one, two, or three icons. A valid Triplet satisfies the all-same-or-all-different rule on all four axes. Two red and one blue kills the trio even if shapes and fills are perfect. Correct finds extend the timer. Random clicking usually wastes more seconds than it earns.
- Find three cards that obey Triplets’ same-or-all-different rule on every trait.
- Shape, color, fill, and count are scored separately.
- Two-same-plus-one-different on any trait is invalid.
- Each correct Triplet adds time; the run ends when the clock hits zero.

Triplets Strategy & Tips
Filter on one trait first so the table is not noise. Stronger: lock two cards, then the third is determined. If two colors match, the third must match; if they differ, the third must be the remaining color. The same logic applies to shape, fill, and count. Build the candidate in your head, do one four-trait check, then click. Speed without that check is how runs die.
- Derive Triplets’ third card from two instead of scanning randomly.
- Reject any trio with a two-and-one split on one trait.
- Do not confuse this visual hunt with Travle or Tridle.
