What is Timeswipe?

Timeswipe is a daily history snap. Each card names an event, invention, war, or cultural release beside a reference year. You decide only Before or After that year. The exact date is revealed after you lock the swipe. Ten cards, one shared daily set, and no undo.

It is not Timingle, which is a millisecond tap when a countdown hits zero. It is not TimeLine, which asks you to drag five events into chronological order. Timeswipe is a binary placement test: which side of one year does the fact live on when the gap is uncomfortably small?

Timeswipe Game Rules

Read the event and the dividing year. Swipe Before or After. The answer locks. Timeswipe then shows the real year and whether the direction was right. Correct cards raise the daily score. A three-year gap feels easy; a one-year gap can break a perfect run. You never type a date. You only pick a side of history.

  • Ten shared Timeswipe cards each day.
  • Each card is Before or After a reference year, not an exact date.
  • A submitted swipe is locked; the true year is revealed next.
  • Score is how many of the ten directions you got right.

How to play Timeswipe?

Press Play on this listing to open official Timeswipe. Place the event in a century first, then decide which side of the printed year it occupies. Commit once; second-guessing is not a mechanic.

  1. Read the event and the Timeswipe reference year.
  2. Decide Before or After and swipe; the choice locks.
  3. Check the revealed year and take the next card.
  4. Finish all ten and share or compare the daily score.

Timeswipe Strategy & Tips

Era first: ancient, industrial, twentieth century, or digital. Then use dependency. A film cannot predate its production tech; a treaty usually follows the war it ends. Do not confuse how old a thing feels with when the named event happened. Trust sharp memories. Question vague ones. Timeswipe rewards the correct side, not a memorized textbook year.

  • Anchor Timeswipe events in a broad era before the swipe.
  • Use cause-and-effect, not vibes, on close years.
  • Do not mix this binary swipe with TimeLine ordering or Timingle taps.
