On the Record Game Rules
Read the prompt and enter your answer when you know it. A correct first attempt earns six points. If the first answer is wrong, the game moves you to multiple choice; selecting the correct option there earns two points. You can spend a point to reveal a short-answer hint. Weekday puzzles contain one question, while weekend quizzes contain ten.
- First-try correct answers are worth 6 points.
- A correct multiple-choice answer is worth 2 points.
- A wrong short answer loses 4 points and opens choices.
- A hint costs 1 point before you submit the answer.
