What is TimeLine?
TimeLine is a daily five-event sort. Dates are hidden. You drag the cards from earliest to latest, then press Check Order on the whole chain. One swapped neighbor can fail the line even when the centuries are right. Events can jump from Magna Carta to the web in a single set.
Keep the camel case: TimeLine. It is not Timdle (eight sequential bounce placements), not Timedle (a mode menu), not TimeGuessr (Street View plus year), not Timeswipe (ten before/after year cards), and not Timingle (tap at zero). TimeLine is five cards, one full-line check.
TimeLine Game Rules
Five shuffled historical moments. Arrange earliest to latest by dragging. Check Order grades the complete sequence. A new shared daily set appears each day. You do not need the exact year in your head if relative eras and dependencies are solid, but two medieval events still fight for the same slot. Unlike Chrono on other sites, this listing’s TimeLine is the five-card Check Order client.
- Order TimeLine’s five events from earliest to latest.
- Submit with Check Order on the full list, not one card at a time.
- A new five-pack publishes daily.
- Not Timdle’s eight, Timedle’s hub, TimeGuessr’s photos, or Timeswipe’s swipes.
How to play TimeLine?
Press Play on this listing to open official TimeLine. Park the oldest and newest you trust, then repair the middle pair that usually trades places.
- Read all five TimeLine cards before dragging.
- Place a confident oldest and newest as endpoints.
- Sort the middle by era, then by cause and effect.
- Press Check Order and fix any remaining swap.
TimeLine Strategy & Tips
Endpoints shrink permutations. Think Ancient → Medieval → Early Modern → Industrial → Modern before you chase a textbook year. Inventions precede products; wars precede treaties. Reread the five as a sentence before checking: TimeLine is often lost on two neighbors, not on a random ancient/modern mix-up. Do not swipe before/after like Timeswipe, and do not expect Street View like TimeGuessr.
- Anchor TimeLine with the events you can date most confidently.
- Use dependency when exact years fail you.
- Check the whole chain; one swap fails the daily.
