What is Timdle?
Timdle is a daily eight-event timeline. One card is already locked as an anchor. You drag the other events one at a time onto before/after dots. A correct drop locks and scores; a miss bounces the card back and knocks a point off that event’s maximum. You cannot skip ahead or shuffle locked cards. First placement is worth 1, later ones climb to 8, for 36 possible points.
Do not mix it with Timedle (a hub of year and people modes), TimeGuessr (Street View plus year), TimeLine (five events, check the whole line), Timeswipe (before/after a printed year on ten cards), or Timingle (tap at countdown zero). Timdle is sequential placement with bounce-back penalties.
Timdle Game Rules
Place all eight events in true chronological order. You must seat the current card correctly before the next one counts. Wrong side of a dot returns the card. Locked events stay. The daily resets on a 24-hour cycle. Relative order among the growing chain is the whole puzzle.
- Order eight Timdle events using a pre-placed anchor.
- Each card must be placed correctly before you continue.
- Misses bounce and reduce that step’s points; max total is 36.
- Not Timedle, TimeGuessr, TimeLine, Timeswipe, or Timingle.
How to play Timdle?
Press Play on this listing to open official Timdle. Drop the event whose date you trust most first so the timeline grows honest walls for the rest.
- Read the eight Timdle cards and the locked anchor.
- Drag your surest event to the correct before or after dot.
- On a bounce, retry that card; on a lock, pick the next surest remaining.
- Finish all eight and read the score out of 36.
Timdle Strategy & Tips
Era buckets (ancient, medieval, modern) cut options fast. Cause and effect: wars before treaties, inventions before products. Close pairs need a “which had to exist first” test. Community extra timelines, if you use them, are practice, not the daily. Timdle never asks you to pin a Street View year like TimeGuessr.
- Spend early Timdle placements on dates you actually know.
- Use locked cards as hard walls for later drops.
- Keep this eight-card bounce game separate from TimeLine’s five-card check.
