What is Doggle?
Doggle is a photo breed quiz: five tries to name the dog. Single Breed is a purebred; Mixed Breed hides several lines in one coat. No multiple-choice comfort. Labs, shepherds, and terriers overlap on color and lie on ears, legs, and muzzle.
It is not Horsle (horses) and not a word grid.
Doggle Game Rules
See the photo. Type or pick a breed. Correct ends the puzzle; wrong spends a try. Five attempts. Play both daily dogs if both modes are up. Share after. Mixed mode may need more than one ancestry name depending on how the site scores that day.
- Identify the Doggle photo in five breed guesses.
- Single Breed and Mixed Breed are separate challenges.
- Coat color alone does not prove a breed.
- A new dog photo (or pair) each day.

- Study proportions, not only fur color.
- Submit a breed name.
- Use remaining tries on lookalikes that match the leftover traits.
Doggle Strategy & Tips
Droopy ears plus long body is not automatically Beagle. Mixed mode: pick the dominant silhouette, then the second bloodline from muzzle or tail. Wiry versus double coat splits terriers from shepherds. Save guesses; similar AKC names are the trap.
- Read Doggle from structure before color.
- In mixed mode, account for more than one lineage.
- Do not spend try one on a celebrity colorway.
