Verticle Game Rules
Type a valid five-letter word. Colors follow the usual language, read per column: green matches the hidden letter in that column; yellow belongs in the word but not that column; gray is unused. A green locks a column, not merely a pretty row. Yellows must move to other columns. On the last guess the solution is still a normal horizontal word. Six tries to line the vertical trail up.
- Guess the Verticle word in six tries.
- Read greens, yellows, and grays as column signals toward the bottom secret.
- Green locks a column; yellow letters must change columns.
- Word puzzle only—not Valodle, Viewdle, or Vroomdle.
