Langle is a daily language detective game. You see a few sentences in an unnamed tongue and have five tries to name the exact language. A miss returns a closeness percentage based on linguistic relatedness and geography. Higher is warmer. There are three dailies: common languages, a harder middle, and a rare-language sting.
Lookalike writing systems can still score cold if they are unrelated families. Langle is not a translation exam; you never have to render the sentences into English, only identify the language.
