Heardle Game Rules
Heardle starts at about one second of audio. Each wrong title or skip grows the clip until the last play, which is still a short intro, not the whole track. You guess the song, usually with the artist. Waiting for the longest clip makes Heardle easier and weaker; skips spend a try the same way a wrong name does.
- Heardle begins with a ~1 second clip of the daily song.
- A wrong guess or skip reveals a longer clip (about 2s, 4s, 7s, 11s, then ~16s).
- Name the song (and artist) to win; fewer listens is the better Heardle score.
- The full album cut is not the puzzle—only the growing intro is.
