What is Crossclimb?

Crossclimb is LinkedIn’s daily word ladder. Crossword-style clues fill same-length middle rungs. Then you reorder those rungs so each neighbor differs by one letter. When the middle is a legal ladder, top and bottom rungs unlock and join the same chain.

A correct clue answer can still sit on the wrong step. Order is the second puzzle.

Crossclimb Game Rules

Solve the clues for the middle words. All answers share a length. Rearrange until each adjacent pair is a one-letter change. Completing that order reveals the end rungs, which must also fit the ladder. Daily on LinkedIn Games.

If two answers share three letters, they probably want to be neighbors. Do not freeze a clue word in the first empty slot. When the middle will not chain, you have a right word in the wrong altitude. End rungs often complete a themed pair (LAND/LANE).
