Adoptle Game Rules
You get up to ten guesses to find the hidden pet name. The catalog hook also notes a 6–10 try range depending on how the official client is set that day, so trust the on-screen counter. Teal means the letter is in the correct slot. Olive means it belongs in the name but not there. Gray means it is absent. A new puzzle appears daily (midnight Eastern on the official site). Shorter or longer names can appear; do not assume a five-letter Wordle grid.
- Guess the name of a real adoptable dog or cat.
- Teal = right letter, right place; olive = right letter, wrong place; gray = unused.
- Up to about ten tries; watch the official guess counter.
- After the round, Adoptle shows the pet and adoption context.
